Car keys are far more sophisticated than they once were. So much so that they require specialized tools and training as well as relationships with manufacturers that allow, Brian and his crew to build a new car key from scratch based just on your car’s VIN#.
That’s something you can’t get done at the corner hardware store, or even a local car parts store. Most traditional locksmiths will still do car open-ups when people lock their keys in but are ill-equipped to program one of today’s chip keys – or reprogram one should a key get into the wrong hands.
